That bacon grease/fat is awesome flavour for cooking fried rice, soups, sauteeing any veggies for various recipes. I store mine in a mason jar in the fridge.

I got a lot of great ideas for meals this weekend, I Just finish making home made apple turn overs some with cinnamon and sugar the others with home made power sugar glaze. I have made total of 20 of them for dessert. Then have a pasta salad and home made pizza. I really like to cook and make sweets, But for me I have to be careful with the things I make as my husband is a diabetic. But we still enjoy the meals. And making them ahead is great blessing. I really enjoy the scripture reading it starting my day with the word of our lord. God Bless. You and your family.

I don't know if I should be telling this story (which we laugh at now) or not BUT, when you found the piece of meat wrapper in the skillet, it reminded me of something my sister-in-law told me. True story. One Thanksgiving they had collard greens that her 90 year old Granny had made. When she put spoon in pot to get more, out came a Brillo pad with the greens. At this point, most of the greens had already been enjoyed! We laugh at this today but, she said no laughs back then. 😳

About the moisture in the egg roll mixture you could put it in a strainer or colander and set it in the pan to drain or you could use 3-4 sheets of paper towel folded and put in the side of the pan to absorb the liquid then just throw out the paper towel it also works with absorbing grease from ground beef. Loved your video, have a blessed weekend❤

Hi Amy i love your videos. Since you said you have a lot of icecream and a big family i wanted to share this with you because its a big hit at my house with my family. i have a tupperware like container that is about not quite 9x13 and into the bottom i pressed oreo cookies that i have crushed in a food processor then i put a layer of softened icecream on top and then sprinkle a layer of peanuts on top and then spread a layer of hot fudge topping over that and then put the lid on and freeze it overnight. The next time you are ready to serve it ,take it out and run hot water over the outside bottom of the container for a minute then flip it over and take the lid off. Just pop it out and slice it or slice it in the container and serve it. Its like peanut buster parfait. Hope you try this and enjoy it.

Good morning Amy! You made me hungry with all of that delicious food! You probably already do this but I bake my bacon on convection and it cooks faster. Just thought I would mention that. You know I have never made a cold macaroni salad before. I am not sure if I like that. I think I am going to try your recipe though. You worked so hard and by the way those plants are beautiful! Cannot wait to see where you plant everything. You look so pretty in that dress. Oh, and I have eggroll wrappers and was so glad I saw you make them in that air fryer. Man, that air fryer is nice I love it. My air fryer is not as large so may have to do some in the oven. Can you freeze the eggrolls after you cook them. I want to make extra for when we want to eat some. Sorry, I talked your head off today but it is always so nice when I get to watch you in the kitchen or anytime really. Glad you are doing well. I know that this is a really rare occurrence but I'll share with you anyway. My sons barber here in Ohio was recently hospitalized with an infection and one thing led to another and he became septic and died. His autopsy showed a small piece of grill brush had gotten into his food and lodged into his esophagus and was too tiny to show up on scans. He was in his 40s and active and healthy so it was enough to make us switch to a different grill cleaner. I'm not a nervous alarmist type person but I wanted to share because it's someone we knew.
