Gatlinburg, Tennessee Rainbow Trout MADNESS!! (PB caught!)

In this video we filmed our day fishing the stocked river that flows through Gatlinburg, Tennessee and on friday (the day after stocking) we absolutely crushed the fish! We also show you our favorite methods and baits for catching these fish!

We use 6lb test usually. They are a blast on light tackle. Call the local tackle shop in Gatlinburg called Smoky Mountain Angler for current information about catch and release and bag limits. If you get the Gatlinburg trout stamp you can keep some for dinner but I believe currently the regulations don’t allow any bait in Gatlinburg. Rooster tails work amazing though!!

Check with Tennessee wildlife (TWRA) for current regulations but I believe you can still keep some in Gatlinburg if you get the Gatlinburg trout stamp. Good luck

Heck yeah thanks for watching. Our trout playlist will help you a lot. We leave spots in most of the videos. This one is in Gatlinburg right by the strip on the river side in front of the hotels. Go to the Smoky Mountain Angler tackle shop. Get some live worms and floats. Fish the day after they stock the river and the trout are insane!! I think they stock on Thursday so plan to fish Friday. Call them for details and make sure you have a Tennessee fishing license 🤙🏼
