I would love to see explanations of all the technical complications! I can think of a couple, like the barrel length, feeding and decoupling the belt, and also having an actuator that can run that fast. But I would love an in-depth explanation of those and any other hidden things I couldn't think of!

I know that picking stuff up is kind of the spirit of nerf, but I think it would be really neat to have a system that can take the empty "rounds" and feed them back into the ammo box, like the GAU-8 does. That would get rid of all the mess of the links.

@@sunrisejackdaw1779 Quite possible... I wonder if printing data with that highly flexible filament would work... Still soft, but I think they'd have more strength. However, a potential issue then might be the friction... Might have to toss those new data into a talcum bath to make them move through the system and down the barrel. I also don't know if their additional weight would cause feed issues... 🤷‍♂️

There are plenty of people that love knowing all the details of how a thing works. One of the best parts of KZbin is getting intimate details about the build process, mechanics and problem solving done to build. I loved the build, but love more details. What’s the inner chamber look like, how did you properly solve the jamming issue, did you use a rasp pi, or Arduino, How many rotations does the chamber do in 1 sec? There are a ton of interesting engineering questions here. My favorite question so far is how do you get that firing rate without everything that’s 3D printing melt because of friction?
