Subscribed! Dude, you deserve more likes. Great production value and great vibe! Also, I own this amp and it's great. My little gato also loves to sleep on its cozy warm top. 😄 Yeah, it does use quite a bit of power for class A bias.

I own the combo Amp 150 and Cdd1 now for years. Im very Happy. 3d Soundstage with the right speakers. Next year, i want to buy the Gato mono amps❤

I have an Amp 150 along with D1 cd player and am in love with both of them. No longer need to upgrade, wondering how good the phono stage is, maybe you could get on for review??!👍

It does not have a RIAA phono stage. It has an RCA input labeled as phono, because that is what many who look for a real analog amp will use. Gato does make a separate phono preamp.

It was the standalone phono stage I was referring to.

Naim's Nap 250 mains connection at the back is ment to have play when you touch it or connecting a power cable...Naim doesn't want any vibrations going back into the circuit board all part of there philosophy in decoupling and great build. I have naims SuperNait3 and it's the same approach in all there amplifiers...

I also found that the transformer was very loud. The loudest I've heard to date.

The Naim power socket is made to be somewhat free-floating (loose) as a means of isolating it from the rest of the chassis. Don’t know if it works, but it isn’t a consequence of questionable build quality.

Ahh ok. My main issue was the noisy toroidal transformer. Which was really frustrating. The floting power socket felt like it was going to break when I connected my heavy gauge power lead to it. For money I think it could be made better.
