Egos for the next 2 years needs to be set aside at UF. Its time to bring the Gators back to the top and this is the opportunity. Everyone on the staff will eat after the goal is achieved. Napier is the HC and will deal with the hard work and will get the blame if things dont go well. But he needs help. A big name OC/ former HC needs to step up. I know hes out there dying to coach Lagway to his full potential.

​@pace348 the way we opened the season and ended last season, Billy deserved criticism. I thought some of the player depth took to long to figure out. DJ Douglas has got to be the worst DB we had in my lifetime. We kept running the same 2 plays for Eugene Wilson. The Dline was awful. The Oline was worse. We started improving starting on the 4th game and by the end of the season we were impressive, dealing with so many injuries and playing at a level I haven't seen in many years.

I don’t think this is the news that Zach was referring to but this is something I def could see happening since Armstrong left for Houston and Strongs background as an LB coach and then Strong being in the building last week wasn’t a fluke I don’t believe! I think he will be the new LB coach/ Co-DC and I think Zach is hopefully eluding to an elite OC hire so that Napier can focus 100% of his time/efforts on being the HC!

Napier isn’t hiring an OC. He’s said it many times that he believes in his philosophy & there is no need to hire someone. At this point, Napier is too stubborn to realize that his play calling won’t take the Gators to next level. I will repeat, Napier is NOT hiring an OC!
