So glad you did this! I'm currently growing my own hair out to donate to charity. It grows insanely fast, so I thought I should put it to good use. I have to keep the sides and back super short though or else it turns into some weird kind of white-guy-afro.

+zendell37 I've heard Locks of Love is a bit shady (they apparently sell the hair?) but I've heard good things about Wigs4Kids. I'd research it before your cut either way just to be sure :)

Well, I wouldn't be cutting just for the donation. My hair has been me for so long I can't just part with it. I'm not a quick grower, either, so it would be a while before it grew back. But that's a good point, well worth researching before donating. It's too bad causes are used to take advantage of others. But then again, that's just human nature these days.

It's odd, this is the shortest my hair has ever been (besides, y'know, infancy) but I'm surprised it suits me as much as it does. My only problem was that it was too flat for ages (I like my hair a bit crazy because it's so curly) but it's grown out a bit now and the floof has returned, so I'm loving it a lot more.

Ally Gator Animator I'm glad you clarified! The image you you exiting the womb with a flowing mane of hair would have been a difficult one to digest. But yeah I had the same conclusion with mine, Though initially I only grew it due to laziness anyhow (I mean who wants to go all the way to a hair dressers and then pay them like £8, Not me, No sir.) But I guess you can make anything work on anyone if you really tried. Still! You seem to have gotten a handle on the whole hair situation (Crazy hair is always better, Let's be honest) and made it work for you, So I'd call that a definite win.

Hexxic Plays! Legend has it I was born a tribble. My mom cut my hair for years and is showing me how to maintain it properly at this length (I had no trouble cutting it when it was long but this style is a bit tougher because of all the layers) so hairdressers needn't be an option and I can save some dough. Luckily because my hair is so curly I don't need to worry about one piece being a fraction shorter than the rest because it's literally all a mess of fluff anyway. And people say sleek hair is easier to manage, pfft!
