As a long time Vols fan, the Gators can beat us at any time. I do not understand the line considering our history with UF. I hope we get our problems fixed and continue to build and get better. The Gators should be a perennial top ten program and they will return to their rightful spot sooner or later. I just want the Vols to hold up our end to make the rivalry relevant again. When Tennessee is good and the Gators are good, those games are fun to watch. Prayers for safety for you guys in Florida. Go VOLS🍊🍊🍊

I’ve been a Vols fan my whole life and we haven’t beat Florida by 20 since 1990 so I bet Florida at +19.5 so easily it wasn’t even funny. Easiest bet I’ve placed all month. Florida is one of those teams that always gives us trouble.

UF can absolutely pull off the major upset. If Tennessee brings the Oklahoma/Arkansas playbook, it's an absolute likelihood that an upset is on the table. I am pulling for my boys to get that nice home win against Florida, but right now nothing is certain with this team.

I know exactly how you feel. As a vol fan, I don't see us winning this just because our offense is so horrible. Not to mention the play calling. We have one good player on offense, Dylan Sampson. That's it. Our O-line is the worst in the SEC and they are fragile, weak and unathletic, and they have no Dawg in them. . It's just facts.

It's going to be a good game. I think it is a must win for both teams for our season aspirations. TN loss to Arkansas gives is no wiggle room if we are going to make CFP. Florida needs this win for recruiting and staff stability for next year. GBO.

After last week's game with Arkansas, I'm no longer confident about any remaining games. Our OL is a wreck, receivers are hurt, and Nico is inexperienced, and making freshman mistakes. Play calling is iffy at best! Good luck to our Florida friends with this latest hurricane situation. It's not looking good right now.

Its becoming apparent the offense of 22 left with the offensive coordinator. Milton was a beast and fast as well but hardly ever ran. We saw his speed on a 80 yard run but never used him that way. Looks just like this yr. I think they dont want to risk Nico running , that simple , but the passing game looks same as Milton.

Sorry, you just haven't put in the effort to watch the film and rewatch the game and look at the field and what nico saw and the poor decisions he was making along with missing open receivers. Play calling wasn't the issue at all. I bet some money you were one of the "nico instead if milton" people from last year aren't you?

Playoff football can't be played like BCS football, it's different preparing for 15-16 games compared 14 games . Hear your talk yesterday with Your husband Eric he would be 100% right if we was in BCS days about the next man up football. Im concerned about our O line holding up against that tremendous Tenn D line. I don’t know if Nico can handle the pressure of this game. Sampson scares me way worse than Nico. If our lines plays solid not necessarily good, I think we have a great chance to win.

@@mgway4661 With all due respect, did you SEE what Ray Davis from Kentucky did to the Gators last year? By himself he ran for 300 yrds against us. Miss St, the worst team in the SEC and one of the worst in the country ran for 240 against us a couple weeks ago. I have ZERO faith in our defense. O line is extremely weak too. If Sampson gets over 100-150 yrds rushing, I don’t see much of a chance for us to win honestly.

With our schedule, that’s not true at all. 6-6, he keeps his job and prevents a major buyout by the boosters. 7-6 or better with this schedule and the tide will be turning in the program. Billy stays at that point and my guess is recruiting only improves.

The beginning half of UF's schedule is where they were picked to have the most success, because the back half of that schedule is a nightmare. I don't think this schedule will be a fair assessment of how much improvement has or will improve. The record will not reflect that. No offense to Cam Ward but he hasn't seen too many SEC defenses yet. Lucky to get UF early in the season when they did. I think Miami is a good team but Cam Ward imo, way way too early and untested to be talking Heisman with this QB. When you look at the rankings of the some of these teams sub-units they have played, aren't good. I think TN wins this game, but not sure they cover.

I'm an Orange blood Tennessee fan too. If Florida showed up with only the band and the cheerleaders they are still a threat to beat Tennessee. Why? I don't know, I'll never understand how Tennessee lost to Florida so many times when they had (IMHO) better teams. And then there are the blow outs that always go Florida's way. Tennessee won the first half in 1990, 1995 and 2022 but haven't much dominated any other halves since 1970. Florida just has Tennessee's number and I think it's psychological now. I cringe every time I think about Tennessee playing Florida. Cringe.. And a note about the Arkansas game. It was brilliant to let them score with 1:17 to go. I really felt like Tennessee would go down and score, just like Georgia did in Knoxville in 2001, but no.... the QB runs out of bounds on 4th down. WTF. Yeah... cringe. No matter what, I'll always pull for the Vols and I've accepted I'm going to be disappointed - a lot. Sigh...

Im a vols fan..but if florida beat us it wouldn't be an upset in my opinion. It seems like we have been exposed. Our offense is horrible and our O-line is the worst in the SEC. There has to be some second guessing going on in the Vols locker room. Florida coaches have obviously gone over the gametape and used that to build Gator confidence. Hopefully Billy will think outside the box and do 2 things. One change 1 or 2 starters and tell the team no ones job is etched in stone, you must work every week to keep your job and two don't broadcast which QB is going to play which series (stupid!) and play more Lagway! Things that Florida can do to disrupt this Tennessee defense is lots of backfield motions. Our linebackers talk a big game but they are the furthest thing from being assignment sound when it comes to taking the bait. They don’t know how to disguise their own defensive scheme pre-snap. Pick on our linebackers. Your wide receivers can pick on our safeties who are banged up. Use off tackle runs, jet sweeps, double or triple options to disrupt our linebackers . Attack the middle of the field . I’m worried about Lagway because there’s still not a ton of tape on him and he’s still inventing his role within the Florida offense.

What do you like Billy Napier or not, for her to say he’s not a deep thinker, or that he’s not an intelligent person, is hilarious, seeing how she regurgitates everything every other Gator media person says. The fact that she doesn’t think offensive lines, are still being figured out at game five, is also hilarious. You had guys coming back from injuries, guys changing positions they played last year to this year, so of course there was gonna be some shuffling around, but you see that quite a bit all over the place.
