Follow the steps below to block someone on Messenger:
1. Open the Messenger app on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Select the menu button in the top left of the Messenger app.
3. Once the menu opens, select the gear for the settings.
4. In the Messenger settings find and select Privacy & Safety.
5. Scroll down and select Blocked Accounts.
6. Search for the account you want to block on Messenger.
7. Find and select the account.
8. Select Block.

Also when a person blocks a person the messages for the person we blocked should be all automatically permanently deleted off facebook messenger as well the very first time we block any person but they are not unfortunately Ms. Nancy and we have to reblock a person a second time I guess when everything should be permanently deleted the very first time for the people we block the very first time. I have even been praying to God that I get this finally resolved because people can be cruel and God is always good to us and the devil wreaks evil unfortunately. I am really frustrated with Facebook security practices myself just like you ☮️
