I don’t remember all the exact details, but to the best of my memory I remember the Xbox version being the most polished when it comes to the in-game features and graphics since it was released a bit later than the PS2 and GameCube versions. So in this case, it’s the best. I also remember the GameCube version having the extra features found in the Xbox version (maybe not all, but some anyway) although apparently earlier copies of the GameCube version were released in an unfinished state because they were missing health bars on certain types of enemies as well as some frame rate problems that were later resolved in the revised copies. It’s hard to tell in this video if it’s the earlier or the revised version because the FPS counter used in this comparison seems iffy. As for the PS2 version, it is expectedly missing features present in the other two versions (the inventory for example) since it was released first. I realize I could have added more details but this is all I can remember for now. Nonetheless, I hope this information turns out to be useful for some observers.

Thanks for the explanation, but it's clear that the Xbox Classic version is better.

I've only played the ps2 and gba versions. The ps2 version is more closer to the arcade experience. Also its weird how the GameCube version is the buggiest, yet most use that version when they do playthroughs of the game

Like 90% of all third party games run and play better on the Xbox, some have better lighting effects and stuff if the devs decided to go all out. Most everything on the Cube that is third party will absolutely not hold up. I have Sands of Time on both Cube and Xbox. I'm running my Cube with Component cables (Granted they're third party) but they are very good. It's night and day. Cube still looks weird and lighter even in progressive scan mode. The Xbox thrashes it, utterly.

Still my favorite game for the Original XBOX.

Curious, I'm running the Xbox version with component and a Tink5X it looks amazing runs in 480p. Cube version is over 100$ no alternate resolution mode. Box version is like 30$. Is it just a print run thing?
