Gauntlet IV - Transparent Obstacle 8-Bit (N163)

Submitted to Famicompo Mini 10. This is the second of two entries that I submitted.
I actually didn't plan to submit more than 1 cover this year. Something made me cover this though, and I've always wanted to cover this track anyway.

Amazing cover. Simply stunning how you've managed to make an 8-bit rendition sound on par with the original. I keep coming back to this video every once in a while and I'll keep doing so. :) P.S. Do you still have the NSF file for this track? Is there a way to download it?

I think this legit sounds better than the original... the wavetable sounds a lot creepier, and combined with the heavy drums, it's better in the percussion department as well. I've listened to this too many times.

Listen to different versions that say they are on the Genesis. Some aren't emulated quite right and sound worse than was originally intended.
