my sennheiser momentum 3 just died this morning. just used for 3 months. that's suck for a reputable brand.

Agreed!! My right earbud on my first pair stopped working out of the blue after having them for about a year. They really need to work on their QC.

I had mine for 2 years and dropped them multiple times but they still work fine (only the transparency mode is a bit janky but I don’t use it so don’t really care too much). They’re overall great but a lot of ppl have issues with them which make them hard to recommend to others imo. Just bought the Gemini 2’s to replace them so I’m curious how big the difference is gonna be.

I’m disappointed by sennheiser, this is the my 3rd pair and the left earbud stops working after 4months.

Hey Ron I know the Devialet Gemini ii claim to be louder. I’m not sure if I got a bad pair but the sennhieser momentum 3 are noticeably louder. I was wondering if that was the same for you?

From the sound quality together with budget standpoint, Sennheiser beat everything. Too bad they have their QC issues. :( Nice review Ron

I have the Nura Pros and i have not found anything that beats them, and i have about 2 dozen earbuds that are S tier. Now i haven't tested the Status ANC3 yet, they are on the way. But my M5s are my second right now. Thanks,

That was a great head to head. The PerL Pro are still in my top three, but they just got edged out of the top stop, IMO.

The Denon pearl pro’s have great hifi sound. If only they could play music! One of the reasons that make the Sennheiser TW3’s so good is their ability to play in time with Pace, Rhythm and Dynamics with the notes starting and finishing as if a conductor was directing them. To my humble ears, they are inherently more musical. For example, have you ever gone to a gig or concert and come out saying: wow that bass was tight, or how sweet was the treble? You just wouldn’t talk like that. You’d say something more like, wow, that bass player plucked that solo with real feeling. Each note played so precisely in time with the audience clapping and when the singer came in at the top and just held that one note! Man sent shivers down my spine. Think of Steven Tyler, his voice is far from classically pure, but he hits those notes as if his voice were drumsticks on a high hat! And with such passion and feeling. That’s what makes him a great singer and vocalist. Listen to him sing Rattle Snake Shakes on Mick Fleetwood’s Peter Green Celebration, just phenomenal. This is exactly the point of music and IMHO, what the Sennheiser’s do best. Thanks Ron for the review. Steve.
