Very true sir. This is a very important aspect by which many students come under the influence of different students who used to make show off of their knowledge. They used to get demotivated by listening of their fake preparation. I'm also a 2021 JEE aspirant and I have also met with these students. Sir u are really a true mentor you used to find small small aspects by which students can get deviated from their path and you used to correct them. I think in this case I'm lucky. As I am an average student But when I've started preparing for UPSC I told my parents about this exam even I exaggerated about myself for this exam, but after this my parents scolded me and said always go through work don't believe in future predictions,if you'll make your today better with hard and smart work future will always brighter than you dreamed.

Phle maine logo ko bta diya tha ki mai upsc ki preparation kr rha hu,but abhi maine do din se negative psychology create krni shrur kr di,logo ko bta diya status lga ke in a certain way ki mai tyari nhi kr rha. Lekin problem aa rhi h relatives ko kaise btau ki mai ye nhi kr rha h,taki vo mere bare me kuch soche hi nhi. Agr kisi ke pas koi idea ho to btao. I think most of the aspirants avoid friends and relatives. The reason being constant pressure frm relatives and the already earning friends who show off to aspirants like us abt what they hv bought nd all. That makes the aspirants insecure and therefore they avoid everyone in general. So I think there are several intentions behind what is called here as showoff.😔

I don't show off my parents....but they use to tell everyone that I am preparing for UPSC......I didn't told my mother that I'm preparing for upsc....but she asks what am I preparing and she sees books and she will get to know any how.And parents they are very impatient.She is like excited and wan't everything in chutki mee and tell everyone.....And relatives use to think ...ki kya utna scene hai tumhare undhar....esei esai bolthe rahte hai indirectly......That will make me feel low ,demotivated. Then I will tell my mother not to tell to everyone about this exam preparation.....🤦‍♀️and this will continue and will never stop....
