Yes, When calculating forward difference we take x2 - x1. While in backward difference we take x1 - x2. That's why is makes difference in positive and negative sign. Which at the end affect the answer. You and find my another video Which will clear you doubts.
Is their any difference btw guess forward formula vs Newton forward or both are same?

Both will give you the same answer. Just the formula for solving the problem is different.

Hello dear, Here is your answer, You can take 1931 but if you do so you need to go up to ∆5 which will make the Numerical lengthy. Thus just to reduce the length of calculations i have selected 1941 as zero. As in exam we have limited time so try going for shortcuts.
