My dad's aajol (आजोळ) or maternal ancestors place is in Akshi Nagaon. Just a few kilometres walk on the sands to the south. Used to be nice and quiet untill the 1990s, but I've heard a lot of coastal bungalows have been converted into guest houses and Mumbai and Punekars flock on weekends and are a nuisance.

yes, the place or the places on the konkan cost has gained lots of tourism but the places from revdanda to mandve coast has gained a lot much due to its nearness to metro cities like Pune and Mumbai. Highly crowded during weekends.
