Varanam 1000 is a masterpiece and one in a decade movie. VTV is not a masterpiece but it has its own cult following. That film has inspired lot of city breed young filmmakers rather than city youngsters. This is my opinion. Maybe it's the 500 days of summer and little manhattan in me stops to see VTV as a masterpiece.

GVM...we respect your work and we anxiously wait for an update of your films...as you said it takes 60 to 70 days to make a film however your films takes more than an year to get released after that...there are very few films of yours which gets released on time...I understood that these movies are your babies and you would be more excited to deliver them to the audience...in that case why don't you just make the films and when it gets the clearance you announce it...hope you or anyone reading this comment takes this positively

@@Kryptster you don't get to know about 50-60% of the movies in Tamil cinema at least 2 months before the release. Only few film makers do that like Shankar. GVM introduced the song of ENPT almost 2 years back and now the film is releasing. Definitely there would be expectations from the audience. Don't mistake me saying this, reason behind viswaroopam 2 failure was because of its delay in releasing. Both director and producers should be aware of it...actor come and do their job and go back home with money in their pocket....it is the fans who are expecting their films in the theatres. If you are not delivering the product when the consumer wants then what is the use of making such product or promote the product when it is ready to be delivered. GVM has been facing this issue from the past 10-12 years.
