GAUTRAIN JOHANNESBURG PARK STATION TO SANDTON CITY SOUTHAFRICA (how gautrain works)

Gautrain is a fast moving train that reaches destination on time.Now i rode with this gautrain from Johannesburg park station to Sandton city, i had great experience in this train.U can buy ticket from office at the station or use a mechine by yourself.Very easy process.Kindly Like and Subscribe guys to ‪@Walk_Africa‬

I took the Gautrain from Sandton to JHB last month. It's a nice experience in the daytime enjoying the country views, but the cost is pretty much the same as a Bolt/Uber. It didn't help that I had to buy a card in addition to the fare and I couldn't redeem it. So that adds to the cost of a once only trip. And yes, it sure is a long way down multiple escalators to/from Sandton street level! If there's an elevator/lift , I'd suggest taking it!

Yeah it's really a long way up or down when using escalator. Not good when U are afraid of heights.

I stayed in a hotel there for 3 nights last month. The central area, Nelson Mandela Square and adjoining huge shopping mall, felt as safe as anywhere in the world. I'd include Gautrain station in that. Had no fears about walking back to my nearby hotel after theatre and eating out.

Usually a few minutes after 5am to a few minutes after 9pm all other stations for the except of park station I think it's 5am to 9pm not sure about ParkStation though but around there.

How much did you pay to Sandton?

Can't remember well but not more than R40 and remember prices depend on time. There is peak time prices go up and when it's not peak time goes less..

This train travels according to time. With or without people. It has busy and not busy times.
