You need the front of the mic to face you, as in the dials to set the mode and gains should be right behind the face of mic that faces you and not angling in. Just see some simple youtube tutorial bro. Thats why it isnt able to pick your sound.

The fact that people are trolling Gavaskar is a bit too harsh. The older generation will always criticize the younger generation, that has been the norm. Wouldn't be surprised if the current generation does the same. The fact is, every body who is associated with cricket in some form or the other will have an opinion. What Gavaskar said is just a snippet from what me and my friends discuss every week. It became a headline only because he is famous, otherwise every body criticizes, analyses and gets emotional about the game in the same manner.

Sunil Gavaskar is a commentator. He is supposed to comment on current match. In the current match at the current stage, he can say what he feels. Kohli was right to comment back on what he heard. The problem is literally not the criticism it's the targeting of Kohli. He is batting at 150 and has more than 600 runs that's more than Gaikwad at the moment.
