My MOTM was Boubacar Traore. He was everywhere, breaking down play, running with ball, good decision making. I particularly watched his off the ball activity. Always looking for danger if our full backs had pushed forward and covered for them. It helps to see this if you don’t just follow the ball. I thought Doherty was our worse player, gave the ball away far too often and wasn’t strong enough for the first goal. Great effort from the team today against a team that could well win the league. Performance rating 7.5 because of the quality of the opposition. We have played a lot worse than that and won games. Keep the faith……Always Wolves 👍

Tonight it showed the difference of 10 places in the PL with the quality of squad they have and what we have got but we have given them a game tonight where they did struggle to start with but we would like a team with good players and we can dream and hope it happens for next season. At least it wasn’t a cricket scoreline tonight we kept them down to two goals imagine if we had a fully fit forward line the result would have been different but not disappointed with the result but we have two more home games to get points and these are teams below us and let’s see what we can do. A much better performance than expected under the circumstances. Arsenal are a top team and they really needed to win to stay in the title race. Looking at some of the comments I am not sure that some of the supporters understand how patched up Wolves were. It should be understood that Fosun don’t lack ambition, that is why Wolves were in trouble with FFP and why the team has ended up being so small. Fosun have lacked nous, wasting money in the past on players that haven’t delivered but they have made good decisions too. Gary O’Neil must have known that this match was unwinnnable under the circumstances and maybe there may be a stronger team available for Bournemouth. Personally I would much rather Wolves beat Bournemouth, that would mean so much more

I like to be very positive about wolves and I appreciate they are down to bare bones in terms of the squad but the number of times they passed the ball backwards was excessive… we did well to neutralise arsenal but it was only when ait nouri and sarabia came on did it feel like we had any thrust… I’m not looking for all out attack but a little bit more impetus please.
