Brilliantly-crafted finale. Predictable but also cleverly unpredictable. Laugh out loud moments and scope for every character to enjoy their moment in the spotlight. Bravo Ruth & James and all the cast & crew - you totally nailed it!!

People are very unfair towards James Corden, I love him and have met him twice, he’s always been lovely. He’s human, he makes mistakes but he’s a great writer, actor, host, and person. But Gavin and Stacey is 100% my favourite James Corden project!

Me & one of my son's absolutely love this. And yes, he's grown up with it like Matthew Horne said. My son's 26 now, we've been fans from the very first episode and this finale was just perfect! I'm so grateful to Ruth Jones & James Corden for loving the fans so much that they wanted us to see the end of every characters story. Especially loved all the call-backs to previous episodes, the beer chart, 'don't mind if I do' Dave Coaches, Rudy (and Brighton & Aldi 🤣) the sharing bucket with the infamous corn on the cob, the lads back together .... just so many to mention. It was tidy. Genuine. ❤❤
