Fun Fact: I met Gavin in 1999 in a NYC coffeeshop called "the coffee pot" (9th ave / w49th st) where we served him free hot coco and he performed for tips only... I recall him being so humble and kind, and his parents were often there in the audience. It has been such blessing to watch his career take off from then - and this interview just confirmed that he is the very same person 25 years later. =)

I went to college with Gavin in 1995 at Ithaca college, we have mutual friends still to this day. I met him a few times.my friends still have pics with him in college playing keyboard in his dorm room.

Gavin is absolutely both one of my favorite artists, and one of my favorite people. I had the honor of meeting him several years ago, and he could not be a sweeter person. I’ve been to see him 3 times (I wish it was more), and he is amazing on stage. I find it interesting what he said about Wayne Newton because that is exactly how I feel about Gavin when I see his shows. He’s funny, very charismatic, and tells the most hilarious stories. ❤ I could go on all day.
