In Love with a Girl was the first song I got hooked on, and the music video was the first time I saw you. I think I listened to that song about a thousand times that summer lol. It is wonderful to hear the stories behind each of these songs, and it's really brave of you to share so much about your creations. I think songwriting is an incredibly vulnerable style of art because you're sharing words from your heart and soul. It was a dream come true to see you perform on the same stage as Billy Joel this past summer. He is another songwriter I admire and when I first heard you I instantly felt a connection to Billy's work. I look forward to more songs and shows in the coming decades and, as always, thank you for being you.

I think Free was meant more for his devoted fans rather than the general public. I wish Dancing Shoes was on this record, but I kind of like that Free is something just for us.
