Everyone complaining about the change of direction his music has taken, is obviously not from a creative background. As a creative myself, I understand the need to explore and venture out and do different things. He still sounds amazing, the lyrics are awesome and quite frankly, I admire the change. I agree with others, that I looooove old-school Gavin but I also feel part of being an artist is growing, changing, and doing what feels good in his/her heart. This is a great song to release to be a mainstream hit for him. He has to make songs like this to keep his career going. It is very catchy and will hit big. Don't judge him and this sound until the album drops and also until he tours the material. I would guess the record will be quite diverse and have strong ballads that showcase him more stripped down. Unfortunately that's not what the industry wants right now in the radio as much so he has to constantly evolve and keep up. He is still the same guy live that shows up big with the biggest and best voice.

This isn't a bad song. I enjoy listening to this song. I understand where some are coming from but this is still his work with his own lyrics. Although the lyrics is not as amazing as his other songs, you still recognize the sincerity of this song and still delivers the message. I can still feel Gavin's shade in this song. While this not might be his best song in substance and to display his voice and talent, I appreciate him making this type of laid-back song where I can just chill, dance, and enjoy it. I am pretty confident he'll release a great song with all the things you want in it. Just you guys wait and be patient. Knowing him, he wouldn't just be able to throw away who he is and what he wants as an artist. Gavin will surely release a "Gavin"-ed/-ated song. And I can't wait for that to happen. :))
