Gavin spot on about Mullins' recruitment of horses, it's tremendous networking
@markjefferies435Ай бұрын
I have never been on Gavin's page concerning racing a lovely guy though.His theory generally is based on times age of the horses which to me is important but not set in stone.Also remembed one year on upping the ante he had a awfull ante post week at Cheltenham.

I love the Final Furlong Podcasts and Gavin Lynch, but why is this podcast released 5 or 6 days after recording? Talking about horses that have already run is frustrating e.g. A Dream To Share. Don’t get it!

Apologies, my Mother is in hospital and now needs surgery which I have to talk to the specialist about in the morning, so haven’t had time to sit down, edit and upload video and audio when I have other broadcast commitments on top of this. Hope you enjoyed the show and thanks for watching.

Great show as always lads. Talking about the King George. Ive heard that Fact to File could be supplemented, and is available at 3-1. What do you reckon.
@FinalFurlongPodcastАй бұрын
If he gets supplemented he’ll take all the beating, and given what’s happened to poor FastOrSlow, I’d say it’s highly likely he’ll go to Kempton. Thanks for watching

The Juxebox Man looks a great bet for the brown advisory. His jumping at newbury was sensational and i don't think the staying hurdlers in Ireland last year were that amazing. 12/1 is fair
@FinalFurlongPodcastАй бұрын
His connections sound incredibly bullish, which you should take with a pinch of salt TBF. He’s definitely the most exciting British staying novice, for now.

Question. Especially for Martin Lewis. ( who I actually believe is astute). How come the French have all the good stock in young horses over the last few years? I’m really looking forward to opinions!
@frankelforever14Ай бұрын
The French train their horses to jump at a younger age so by the time they run in Ireland or the UK they are usually good jumpers. They also have more hurdles to tackle in their races compared to the UK putting the emphasis on jumping rather than excessive speed heading to the jump. As for you thinking Martin Lewis is astute I think you might need to see a doctor if that is the case. He spends most of his time slagging off French racing and judges horses by their jockeys silks rather than their ability.

He could get beaten again by Fact To File, drift out further and then smash him up in the Gold Cup. Either way, he’s the one they all have to beat and that’s from one of Fact To Files biggest fans. Thanks for watching lads 💪

Hi Tom. I follow u a lot. Especially on Mickey D. You disagree that Gavin is not one of the best minds? In my opinion he’s right up there at the top.
@garethedwards3379Ай бұрын
100% he is. Offers up plenty of ideas and information that is both unique and useful. Not just the same regurgitated shite most other pundits come out with. I don’t share his views on how important times/stats are but there’s no denying he’s extremely well informed. On his own research too!
