This is probably the most important song ever to me. I was in my early 20s when I first heard it. Impressionable. Life has a way of changing people. Thoughts were in my head. This song kept me together and eventually taught me that being tough and having strength are different from being a bastard. Was thinking about this song this morning, couldn't remember Gavin's name, after trial and error on google, finally remembered. Im older person, and occasionally been surrounded by liars and imposters. But ive found my peace of mind, my strength without fighting and confrontation. I loved One Tree Hill when I was in high school. It got me through so many tough times in my life. As cliche as this sounds, I found some sort of comfort through it. When I watched OTH reruns after school on Soap Net, all my troubles went away. My favorite part of the week was waiting for new episodes. I have watched it 4 times since the show ended. I kinda forgot about it since I finished college and now working full time. I just came across it again and I’m so happy that I did. Time for round 5 haha! Thank you, One Tree Hill for everything 💙

In 2011 I went through a sad time in life I lost my girlfriend of 9 years felt like things were not going to be better. Started watching OTH and sounds stuiped but I felt like I was part of that group and things were just better. I still listen to alot of the groups that came on the show. That show opened up alot of bands to be noticed. Wakey Wakey, Oland and the moon. And alot others. And to watch luke and nate and brook and keith and dan and Definitely Payton. Made your day a better place.kids going through problems just like us.
