Bellissima interpretazione della "Gavotte e six doubles" di Jean Philippe Rameau . Non si sente spesso suonare con la fisarmonica (Bajan) questo autore , il quale peraltro è un grande musicista e soprattutto , a parte "Les fetes galantes", è un grande e apprezzato conoscitore dell'armonia. Siamo , più o meno , nel periodo di Bach ( morto nel 1750) , ma quanta differenza melodica già nello "stile galante", ma con la conservazione di un contrappunto perfetto. Bravissima Ambre Vuillermoz che rende meravigliosamente la "Gavotte" e i non semplici "Six Doubles" e soprattutto riesce a rendere ben organiche le due tastiere, soprattutto il basso, non facile da suonare, con risposte armoniche adeguate alla melodia. Perfetta esecuzione e complimenti alla Tastierista.

Mesmerizing, the dancing fingers. But more important: great phrasing, dynamics. Not idiomatic, but totally convincing, musically. I revisited a harpsichord recording, and it struck me how 'noble' and sophisticated it sounded; in your hands the music becomes very humane and even emotional. Fascinating.
