May kaibigan ako na pumunta sa California as tourists Visa last 2018… pag dating nya dito nakipag kita sya sa kanyang fiancee na taga Iowa… hindi na sya bumalik dahil magpa pakasal sya sa lalake. Naghintay pa sya ng 4 months staying here at nagpakasal sila. After sa kasal nag apply siya ng greencard sa immigration lawyer umabot pa ng isang taon dahil daming requirements after a year nakakuha na sya ng greencard 2019 and after 3 yrs nag apply sya ng US citizen at naging US citizens na sya ngayon. Pwede ba yon?? Akala ko bawal. Acceptable pa ba yon ?? Hindi pa nag due yong tourist visa for 6 months … after 4 months magpapakasal ???? Just asking

@Amazingme927 Pwede yan a long as the marriage is in "good faith". I'm sure they were interviewed by immigration officer when she applied for conditional green card. There are cases when the spouse and wife are interviewed separately to verify if they're telling the truth.

Almost same question and lots of paperwork to prove that you know each other well and marriage is not fix. Very intimidating question and personal questions. Like what’s her favorite color, how much your spouse weighs. How tall is she? What’s your purpose of staying in USA. The answer to what’s your purpose in staying in USA is I want to be with my wife or spouse. Also I end up getting interviewed by USA personnel not Filipino employee of USA embassy. Mostly yung kapwa pinoy ang nag interview sya pa ang nag denied ng papers mo para makarating sa USA. Kasi me naka sabay akong pinay she was denied by a pinay on interview and she is married to American man. On the day you got the interview it’s the same day you will know whether you pass or deny.

@fernandofrancisco3106 Correct. I was lucky we were interviewed together by a Filipino immigration officer. He was nice. He asked us how did we meet. Then we talked about the Philippines, our plan to go to Boracay 😊 I tried to prolong the "kwentuhan" para di na sya makapagtanong pa 😅 But before the interview started, he greeted us first and then left the room. I think there was a camera observing us how we were interacting with each other as husband and wife. While waiting for him, we pulled out all our documents including the pictures of our wedding and put everything on the table. When he came back, everything he needed was on the table 😂 The interview went well. Thank God 🙏🙏🙏

Naranasan ko na 'yan na e decline dahil wala daw ako strong economic ties like Business. Sa interview dala2x ko ang mga Properties Titles ko, Bank Statement passbook and investments pero never na ask or na e check. I've heard may quota sila sa pag approve ng Visa. Once puno na bali e decline na nila. For me I'm purely wants to see the place of America but never in my dream to live or to work there. I love to travel. It's a great expeience and having a good memories. For me their's no place like home.

That's not enough to get tourist visa. I just sponsor my Mom, Son, daughter but Mama ko lang na approved. Ang dalawa wla sobrang higpit ng US Embassy even during Biden. Kung may business ka at regular kang ngbabayad ng tax sa atin at may trabaho kpa, un ang mlamang na pwede kang ma approve. Di sila nghahanap ng Bank account, title, no such thing. Nka depende sa Consul na mag interview sayo, kung ang Consul mahigpit wla deny yan.
