My Process ( If you're interested)
- Isolate vocals from original video with AI thing.
- Clean up timing and remove breath sounds.
- Apply compression(1176) , EQ , and plate reverb.
(Fun Fact!) Plate reverb is basically a giant steel plate in a
giant wooden box with sound drivers vibrating the plate in the middle .
Two pickups on either ends of the plate pick up the reverberance , hence PLATE reverb. The same stuff everyone used in the 80s for that sweet city pop reverb! Next.
- Get Ride On Time original instrumental
- Slow down from 120 to 118bpm. Pitch shift 1 semi up.
- Apply master bus compression and other stuff and WHAM!
