Cherry beach used to be a very busy place, lots of action, for 24 hours, Marie Curtis park in Etobicoke also. This days are gone for sure.

Always great tips and tricks from Patrick! My #1 advice is SUNSCREEN! Sunscreen everywhere! Especially if you’re exposing skin that doesn’t often get much sun exposure. A sunburned butt or groin can be mighty painful. Plus - trust me on this - you don’t want skin cancer in certain areas. I mea, you don’t want skin cancer anywhere, but especially not in sensitive spots. I’ve had melanoma this year. It wasn’t caught very early. They had to remove a very large chunk of skin and underlying tissue. Lucky for me it was on my back, because I’d hate to have had that much tissue removed from an area with more…delicate skin, shall we say. All those summer days spent with no sunscreen on the Gulf Coast back in the 1970s and 1980s definitely caught up with me…

A hot spot for beach cruising I used to see quite a bit are those locations that have have showers right off the beach to wash the sand off. If they pull their bathing suit down to wash out the sand and linger with it too long maybe even touch their dick a bit too much, yeah that's a sign..lol.

Back in my cruising days (meaning before I got into a monogamous gay relationship), the internet did not exist, and cellular phones were devices that resided in the trunks of cars, so it was either cruising or gay bars. I never tried cruising the beach (it would have been the beaches of Lake Erie), so there would probably not have been many gay men cruising.
