Every time I hear "Everything is Possible" by 90s acapella gay group The Flirtations I start crying a little. Eternally grateful for having wonderful parents that let me be whomever I wanted to be and love whomever I choosed.

I sang this for all three of my children, and I see them all over this song. Michael Callen and rest of The Flirts impacted not just my life, but my children’s lives.

So love this song. What a truly different world we would live in if everyone sang this lullaby to their children! Imagine!!!

This brings tears to my eyes every single time. What a beautiful message! 30 years later, it's a very different world for LGBTQ people to grow up in. And it's the work and activism of so many before them who have made it all possible. Thank You Flirtations. You guys are awesome:)

I used to sing this song to my daughter when she was a baby. It really does make a great lullabye. This differs slightly from the Fred Small version but this is the version I learned first.

The love and joy i had hoped would be there was only ever given by men I would never meet. The gay community, my chosen family.

Thanks so much for posting this. I had no idea until now that a live performance video of this song existed on KZbin. But I checked after listening again to The Flirtations first CD (issued 1990) which I bought after seeing the group at The Vancouver Folk Festival in July 1991. Their performance blew me and my wife away and we jumped at the chance to see them play a few days after the festival at The Commodore, also in Vancouver.
