Maybe a solution for the heater complaint is that instead of you not running the heater is for the complainer to turn off the volume and turn on the CC (closed caption) and read what you are saying. You shouldn't have to freeze in your own basement doing videos for us to enjoy! My basement is cold. Now, that's my excuse for not getting my craft area organized. I'd probably have to wear a sweater while working down there.

Good morning Gayle & Friends! Cracked up when you found the egg! I enjoyed walking down memory lane as you were going through your big box of done. took a couple of notes to go back and make some of the items I had forgotten to write down. The “half” butterflies are my favorite because they take less room and remind me of my mom. I think they look more natural. Watching you create the page topper amazes me how you make it look so easy. I really struggle with page toppers. Is there such a thing as generic ones? So I could practice?? 😂. This formula with the cardboard, decor themed for the journal and some lace/fabric is a good recipe, huh? And your advice at the end, really hit home with me. Thanks for always helping me get out of my own way and just craft!!! Warm blessings to you and YT crew! P.S. I have a solution for your heater, come to Kansas and craft with me! My craftroom is on the second floor, faces the east and gets very hot! I run the fan on high, even in winter! Thinking I need to change out the lights! Take care my friend!

Think about renaming the journal Pink and Blue flowers with a Few Faeries Thrown In. Lol. Gayle, if you are cold, turn on your little heater. I've never noticed any sound in the back ground. This person might be using headphones which usually make background noises more noticeable. Someone else mentioned closed captions, might be an option. I am so envious that you even need to run a heater right now. We've already hit triple digits here in Texas. Maybe I should be a snowbird and moved to Montana during the summer. 🌞🌞🌞

One of my grandsons loves for me to hide eggs at all times of the year so we had a Nana day recently so I hid 30 eggs around the house but we couldn’t find the last one and for the life of me I couldn’t remember where the last one could be so I told him it would show up one day and sure enough, I was in my craft room the other day and moved something and there it was!! Hi Gayle. This is going to be a fun journal to make. As you were sorting for stuff to put in it you said "no birds". Well...I was invited to a tea party my fairy friend was having in my enchanted forest in my backyard (on my city size lot 😂) and birds were there. Birds, butterflies and fairies. Oh yes indeed. During the winter, when I'm cold in my craft room, I lay a heating pad across my lap and put a lap blanket over it and my legs. It heats me right up and I don't have to heat the entire house.

The half butterflies are perched on something so they’re not flying in the air. You have to put them on a stick or a flower stem or perched on something. Maybe you’ll have less problem with them, realizing that they’re not flying in the air.
