Those are really nice! I don't feel like I have very pretty scraps. I told my sister once "I have Gayle Agostinelli paper envy. She just laughed. I'll try to find some paper I can use. Then I'll share the idea with her whenever we go camping again. Last month when we went I showed her the stack and whack and she liked that.

Good Morning Gayle & friends! Love scrappy Saturdays! When I’ve tried this, I agonize over which pieces “look good together”! Even though I know, they always turn out beautiful. They remind me of grandma’s quilts. She used whatever she had. My uncles teased her about using underwear in quilts. She swore she never did because “the boys” had “wiping” issues! 😂😂😂. Looking forward to seeing all your makes from the retreat and hearing all about the grands sporting events. Being a grandparent is such a treasure. Many blessings to your retreat buddies and safe travels as they travel home. Have a wonderful weekend ladies and gents. In Kansas, we are having to pull out the cold weather clothes.

Hi Gayle, thanks for sharing this new master board idea. When you’re starting with shorter strips you can start gluing closer to a corner so that the strip fully reaches across the page. That way you follow the process with a set angle. Thanks too to Frieda for the inspiration!

Gayle, I have been off of looking at crafty videos while researching a health issue. So this morning I got back on the craft train seeing your thumbnail. Well….that just reminded me of why I enjoy watching your videos so much. Watching you work and hearing your comments is like a visit with an old friend. You are engrossed in your work, there is not a pretentious bone in your body. It is very relaxing to watch. Plus, you are just funny - without trying. When you said “Fra-Gee-Lay” without missing a beat, I laughed out loud. It is very apparent you love your work, but you also love your family to the core of your being. Your audience knows this, so if you need to take time off to be with family, we understand. Just do a throw back Thursday or Flashback Friday. No need to apologize. If you worked in a regular 9-5 job, you’d have regular days off. Take the time you need to partake in the other important parts of your life. You’ll enjoy the time away from crafting and will return with new ideas and a fresh perspective. Thanks for what you do and being a long distance friend to so many!

Gayle you could set a day each week where you are not posting videos. Or grab some of your favorites from the past and do “flashback Thursday” if you want to keep up the daily grind. Any decision you make will work out. It’s better for you to be inspired and happy with your product than be burned out or resentful on the time demand.
