I know others, myself included who either are registered as Republican or Independent (me). It's hard in the "community" to have these conversations with other gay friends who have TDS. Some have lost friends over it. But those of us who are gay but have otherwise conservative values are trying to make a dent into education within the community. There is also the Log Cabin Republicans group nationwide to support gay conservatives.

I grew up with 4 gay guys from 1st grade (1974) on in a Lutheran private school and nobody cared if they were straight or gay and I never understood why in 2015 it suddenly became an issue.

Growing up under communist rule, the left and the Demokkkratic Party remind me of totalitarian regimes. They use common communist propaganda strategies, for example, fake-solidarity campaigns, while their people suffer, being restricted from free speech, prohibited from travelling outside of the Iron Curtain. It's used to create chaos, manipulate, painting themselves as morally superior, just to gain and control power, keeping the people equally poor while becoming rich by stealing from and using the people as slaves and pawns. However, everything comes to an end. I hope we will not see a civil war, which they try to provoke by spreading hatred and forcing their sick ideology upon us.

Yeah. The yoga business next to our office is run by two women and they are pro Trump. Super nice people and I confess they changed my opinion on that community as I've gotten to know them. I’m a 72 yr old white guy who has been around gays since early ‘70’s. I love this term “Normal Gays”. Normal gays should be recognized for WHO they are, not WHAT they are as the woke media would like us to focus on. Normal Gays are wonderful people, just like everyone else. I find them to be kind, loving, engaging and decent people. They should have never been stereotyped the way they have been for the last several years.
