As a gay man this guy was absolutely disgusting. I was raised by straight parents, been around straights my whole life and I still turned out gay. Never encountered another gay person till high-school and I knew I was gay a hell of a lot earlier then that. So I would love him to explain how I "turned gay" its just not a thing. Some people like me knew they are gay early on in life. Others find out unfortunately later in life. That's just how it works. It's not black and white. People like this guy is why gay pride exists

Gay people can help take care of the orphan/s problem that is still a thing in this country (I personally feel it is very concerning). I see that as a good thing, the gay couple can have a family, and an orphan can have a family. Hopefully, the orphan/s will grow up to improve the community by being more accepting of gay couples. I wish Hunter would push harder with probing questions. Like the whole "our culture is going to be replaced!"...why do you care if in 100 years people are listening to different music than you are right now? Because, guess what, they will be whether your culture "gets taken over" or not. Cultures grow and change over time, wanting things to stay forever the same as they were when you hit your prime in highschool is just like, dumb. The deeper you go into this nonsense, the less coherent it becomes, it's a waste of time scratching at surface level beliefs.

@@chrisrevel2801 the point I'm making is that yeah of course in the wider population there's not a lot of straight people with gay parents, but that's just because not a lot of people have gay adopted parents. However you seem to be making some notion that the majority of kids adopted by gay parents are gay too. But if you actually zoom in on the population of people who are adopted by gay parents, straight people are no longer some "very rare" occurrence that you falsely make them out to be Edit What it seems you're trying to do is push this narrative that kids adopted by gay people are being pushed into being gay or something like that, when what's actually the case is that they just have a slightly higher incidence of self identifying as gay because they grow up in a more open minded environment where any child who does turn out gay is comfortable to express themselves that way

It should be noted, those studies about adopted kids of gay couples being more likely to be non-hetero were derived from 3 narratives and applied in a lateral study. Which, isn't exactly an in depth study. Even if taken at it's conclusion, sexuality is most likely a spectrum, rather than categorical. Cultural and environmental conditions may blur the position that a person's sexuality lays in naturally. Something like instead of being fully defined as "blue", one may have an understanding of their sexuality to also include "teal" and "periwinkle". Which may be the case for all people regardless, but social situations causes people to retract their sexuality to be only defined as "blue". This assumption feels more the case being that the kids identify simply as "non-heterosexual" and not explicitly "gay".

Black Americans are very much American. I understand the argument of not relating to an immigrant but black Americans speak the same language, watch the same movies, listen to the music, eat the same food as white Americans. But even with immigrants, their kids are very Americanized. English is their first language, they love American music and eat American food. So this guy goes on about how the child will learn the way love is from their parents. So he is upset that a lesbian couple showing the same love that straights provide to their partners is wrong. He does understand that love is not restricted? To force someone to “love” someone is not love at all. I don’t understand why people have such a twisted outlook on love and this was “normal” for all these years?. Glad that I have a mind of my own. My parents are straight. All my adult family members before my parents are straight. Did I learn love that way? No. When people speak they really need to think about what they are saying and apply it to the other side.

So he prioritizes similar cultural heritage over similar societal lifestyles. This is so often the implicit rejection of class solidarity which eventually sprouts into a susceptibility to fascist talking points. I really wish this willingness to sacrifice the concerns of broad material conditions for the sake of preserving a romanticized version of what caused those conditions in the first place were more opaque to these people. The shoes of malice fit stupidity just as well.

Another point... The whole recruitment supposition... Do these people realize that it basically means at *least* one of two things that I don't think they agree with. 1. Having sex with a man is *always* more pleasurable than with a woman, thus the mere experience becomes addictive on a both physical as well as emotional level. Basically, everyone are Gay. Some just know without it being pointed out to them. Which goes to the second bit. So called straight men just don't think they can actually get a man. Thus when it happens they go: *Wow, I thought I could Never get one. O.M.G. I can actually get a MAN. I am actually free.* That. Is what Recruitment Supposition means.

But no its not life experiences, its really simple. How did i find out i was bisexual? well i saw a woman and realised i liked woman. I saw a man and realised oh i like men too. Why do you think they are targeting kids about sexuality and giving them the right to make permanent decisions on changing their sex. You have puberty blockers getting promoted and now adults who are regretting the decisions they made in changing their sex and sexuality. It's a thing right now and will be exposed real soon. Hospitals are reversing their decisions on these surgeries because they are under scrutiny. My Point: allow these kids to grow up and then revisit if they want to make these permanent decision. Stop grooming them young only for them to become adults and regret these decisions.

If the transdebate inherently means that such persons choose their identity and whatever then to some degree your sexuality is chosen. Seems like sexual orientation is changeable as is gender identity if you believe that gender is fluid and that just because I say equals the reality. "Is transgender a sexual orientation? Nope! People often confuse gender identity, which is about who you are, with sexual orientation, which is about who you’re attracted to. Sexual orientation - like lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, or more - describes sexual or romantic attraction. Gender modality and gender identity are about who you are inside. A transgender person can have any sexual or romantic orientation. "

His entire point for this segment was that "white people" aren't actually a meaningful group. He feels culturally aligned and invested in americans, but americans aren't "white people" they're... americans (and if pressed I'm not even sure he'd mind America ceasing to exist in a century, as long as whatever replaced it was at least as free and progressive). There are a lot of non-white people that fit into the cultural group and a lot of white people that don't, the important part is the cultural similarity. "Your skin looks like my skin so we're best friends now, his skin doesn't look like my skin so we can't be friends" is a fucking idiotic mindset that ignores 99.9% of what actually makes people relate to one another.

@@TheSquareOnes i don't think you could miss the point more if you tried. I'm not American, I couldn't care less about Americans as a group, thats the problem I have with America, the whole way it's turned out is racially corrosive. I think it's sad that people like Hunter have lost a sense of pride in their race, and don't even identity with their race anymore. And I don't care about "skin colour", I'm talking about the ethnic groups that have the same ancestory, the same history, the same geographical starting point, the same culture and the same traditions. If Americans have lost sense of that, as many of them have, and consider their multi-racial mess of a country their source of identity instead, then that is a shame. I completely agree with you that "white" is a meaningless racial category, people can't even define exactly who is and isn't "white", I'm talking about Europeans, Aryans, including those who settled in other countries, like America. Your race is far more complex than just your skin colour, it's the fact that you are part of an extended family that evolved together to share countries, cultures and unique phenotypical qualities. I know this probably sounds like schizo rambling, but I generally feel truly sorry for people who have accepted social conditioning to the extent that they complete lose all racial identity.
