Yes, great sound. Must be the humbuckers he's got on his telecaster. He's got two of them, although at 16.27 you can see it's only bridge pick-up selected. Most teles I've seen have a single coil at the bridge.

The Telecaster Deluxe is a fantastic looking guitar. I always loved the idea of a Les Paul style pickup selector switch and tone and volume for each pickup but on a tele body. Those things aren't cheap either. With that bullet truss rod adjuster nut I'm guessing it's a 70s model.

One of the first songs I dabbled with back in the 90's when learning guitar. Never heard the song before but I practiced its tab that was published in a mag. It was years later with the advent of the internet I found out how it should have sounded and to be honest I wasnt that far off.

​@@harryc505 Apparently, the band would use people's names as working titles for songs and it was the third time they had used the name Richard. Back in the day, I had been told it was in reference to the historical king and tge play by Shakespeare, but that was just someone talking bollocks. 👍😎
