Good Video. We live in the Bay-area, California, currently for a three bedroom two bath house, in a good area costs 1.2 million to buy, which is over $9000 mortgage. However, to rent that costs around $4500, which is half the price to own and you will have a monthly opportunity income of $4500 if you rent. Here timing is also really important. Sometimes housing can grow 100% in 2-4 years, which is very attractive investment.

Thats good knowledge sharing but the thing is no matter how much low you can rent in at the end you don't own anything. However if you buy a house at least in 20 or 30 yrs thats your property. For short term renting may be better choice but not for long term

ኣነ ውን ኣብ England እየ ዘለኹ። Stanp duty ኣሎ፡ ግን ናይ council tax ኣለና፡ directly ደኣ ብ % ናይቲ ክብሪ ገዛ ኣይተሓሰብ እምበር፡ search ብዝገበርክዎ ብ ኣቨረጅ ከባቢ 0.5 - 1% ክብሪ ናይቲ ገዛ ይመጽእ ዩ። ዋላ ኣብ USA እውን ክሳብ 3% ዝኸፍሉ ኣለዉ።

Like you said in your clip if we spend less money in rent than buying, then it is better to rent. If you have a family it is better to live in a house. Price of up, and down is just a trend that changes overtime. You can also sell, and move when in the right time. I sold my house a couple years a go when the house market was high. So if you have kids it is better to buy , kids will have enough space, the school zone can be better.

For example, if the total interest is 21,000, it have to be divided by the number of years that you will need to pay off the house. That was my understanding. Correct me if I am wrong please. Let me give you a hyohotetical example to make sure you get it …… If you take out a $21,000 mortgage (loan) at a 7% fixed interest rate for 30 years, your monthly payment would be approximately $139.86. Over the life of the loan, you would pay around $29,349.60 in interest. And the total amount paid over the life of the loan would be approximately $50,349.60.

Your initiative is appreciated however you missed lots of details that needs to be considered. Buying a house is not Only a monetary aspect but also an emotional and psychological attachment. Those factors could also play a great role in the family well being; social, behavioral, and educational aspects. Based on your factors used in your video, the estimate for maintenance and opportunity cost are a little bit off. Opportunity cost should have been only from the 80K and should be around 800. Also you did not include the principal section of the mortgage payment which a buyer is placing it in a different place. All in all, its hood idea to do an educated decision but your comparison are too narrow and off the truth.

ልክዕ፡ እቲ ክፍሊት ገዛ ኸኣ እንዳጎደለ ይኸይድ ብድሕሪ ዝተወሰን እዋን፡ ምኽንያቱ ነቲ ቀዳማይ 10 ዓመታት እቶም ሰብ ገንዘብ ዘለቁሑኻ ኢኻ ትኸፍል። እንድሕር ኣፍልጦ ኣልዩካ ኸኣ ነቲ ወለድ ዘኮነ ነቲ ልቓሕ ተውሳኺ እንዳኸፈልካ ተግዱሎሞ እቲ ወለድ ይውሕደልካ። ኣብ 15 ዓመት እንተኸፊልካዮ ኣብቲ ገዛ ብነጻ ትነብር። ኣብዚኣ እዚ መንእሰይ ዘንጊዑ ኣሎ።
