Second, there has always been a Jewish presence in the region, a memory the Jordanians intentionally tried to erase by systematically dismantling the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem and Jewish landmarks in Hebron. Third, the Jewish population of the region would have been much larger had it not been for quotas on the number of Jews in the region, first by the Romans, then by the Byzantines, the Arabs, the Turks and finally the British. If you accuse the Jews of “stealing” the land from the Palestinians, you can equally accuse the Palestinians of “stealing” the land from the Jews. It’s a circular argument that does no good for anyone! Finally, blame Egypt and not Israel for not opening the crossing, Israel has zero jurisdiction over the Raffah crossing.

Just watched footage of a UN food aid warehouse bombed by Israel in Gaza. You can clearly see the sacks of UN grain as a firefighter tries to tackle the fire. The roof was clearly marked as a UN food aid storage facility. Precision guided munitions they said. So targeted on purpose then.

Any government can remove people from their homes for any reason. From building a highway to just because they feel like it. That in no way gives you the right to commit any violence, nor do you have some eternal claim to a house or piece of land. To think you do is asinine and ridiculous. If they'd rather die than leave, I don't really care.
