Even so, I found this discussion very enlightening and inspiring. Palestinians have retained their humanity despite their decades of suffering and oppression. In contrast, their Oppressors have clearly abandoned their own humanity -- despite their privileged lives. Very revealing.

Palestinians teach life. I agree totally with that since when I started to follow what is going on in Gaza their way of staying with what is happening really touched me. It's impressive their dignity and calmness despite the suffering. And they always have words of prayer on their lips. I had the same thoughts about the children that you shared. I have thought about the ones that are gone and I keep imagining them safe and joyful playing together in marvelous environment. Palestinians are teaching me so much , sometimes I think they are giving their lives, themselves, in order to change our mindset and awaken our souls. ! My heart has been in so much pain this past few weeks as I witness the horrors. Alhumdulilah , listening to this talk today and listening to your lovely talks has brought me hope, brought me strength. As I listened to your talk alhumdulilah it brought tears of hope ! Alhumdulilah it brought tears of wonder and admiration of the strength of these beautiful Palestinians. Many years ago I was almost at the end and giving up but as I was learning to read the Quran I was familiarised to the concept that there is no such concept as the end, we just transition away from the strife of this world. The ones who have lost hold of the rope of humanity are the true losers.

I read a book called "Secret of Divine Love" by A. Helwa. It's a pretty good book for getting to know who we are and who God is. But many also said that this book was a little off the teachings of Islam. As far as I've read, nothing is off. Maybe you'd like to read it too. Of course, after reading the Qur'an or the hadith books.
