Gaza is the first video series in Ndau, the minority language spoken in Chipinge, in the South Eastern region of Zimbabwe.
The series was filmed on location in Chipinge with first time crew and cast trained on the job during production.

Talent rekumusoro soro riripo veduwe nemanyorerwo, uye producing directing and acting yaitwa pamutambo uyu. Mr Mahaka the way your script was written, muchinyatsoisa zvinoitika netsika ko kwaMhaiyo. Your selection of these good actor’s especially the experienced ones kozoti even the young ones this was meticulously done kuburitsa quality acting at a very high level uye drama rinonakidza. Isu wo vawoni are getting greedy. Ndava kuda more and more something like two episodes a week however I understand time constraints. Waiting yacho for the next episode kushingirira kudarika munhu akamirira payday. Thank you 🙏 for giving us quality drama. I thought pana Gringo yaive masterpiece but including this you have taken Zimbabwe drama to the highest possible asi with your creativity it seems the ceiling is being raised episode after apisode. I am eagerly waiting for the next episode.

My maternal grandparents were from Chipinge and spoke chindau my mother went to Gaza sec chool. Watching this is making me so sad my grandmother passed away a month ago but it also gives me some weird sense of comfort in a way. Eagerly waiting for each ep 😍 watching from 🇨🇦

15:50 was the best scene. Women are good at leveraging men and antagonising if you dont dance to their tune. kkkkkk Cant wait for Season 2. I used to stay at Mooiplats, just after MaOstrich in Chipinge. I am so proud of this drama homegrown. Thank you Ben Mahaka and your team.
