THEORY! I believe that’s a foreshadow that Paimon is actually from celestia (there’s a literal string attached to her from the sky) and there’s many theories about it. One theory is she’s actually the god from the beginning as they share similar designs in their attire (like the symbol on Paimon and the crown) another is she’s a puppet for celestia and is being the eyes for the sky like some sort of spy, whether she’s aware of this or not is unclear. Another is she was stripped of her name in celestia and they banished her to teyvat (which is why she’s lost and has no idea where she came from) also makes no sense how she’s the only Paimon in the game.

Very underrated detail for me is Focalors sitting at the 4th chair because in some cultures, the number 4 means "death". So Focalors being executed at the 4th chair is a neat detail even tho Fontaine was the 5th region we visited

I’m not sure if this was the intention or not, but I like that the only use of 3d animation used is on the archons’ thrones at 3:39 when Focalors destroys the hydro one. It makes Celestia look almost foreign, like it’s not supposed to be there.

5:13 Brother, she does have a string connecting to the sky, presumably Celestia. That melusine Cantonila from the world quest wasn't spouting nonsense. Good lord. I have a strong theory that Paimon is sculpted from the remains of the third descender, from whatever was left after creating the 7 gnoses. She doesn't get affected by the abyss, just like Traveller. She has to be a descender at this point. But the remains of dead bring a curse to people who possess it. I would hate to see how the Tsaritza is going to get cursed by the 7 Gnosis.
