1983. I was 12 and it was summer. The big holidays had just begun and I was sitting at the window in my attic room of our villa in Berlin-Dahlem at night and watching the stars with binoculars. ARD Nachtexpress was on SFB2 and that's when this song came on for the first time. I recorded and this cassette played the whole time on our summer vacation in the heath. How much I love this piece. It is a memory of the best time of my life that I will never forget. MM (D/1970)
