Got this one for Christmas. Started a week ago and it’s pretty complicated. But if you follow the directions then it’s better. I broke pieces and it does make your hands hurt pushing things. I hope mine works when done. Been building these for a while (ROKR), this one’s the hardest.

@@kurtschatteman5193 you can adjust speed (33, 45, 78 rpm) and it's suitable for most 7" to 10" inch vinyl records so you can play whatever you have lying around

@@gazoostudio turning the handle counter-clockwise will reverse the direction of the record and the music. This set needs to be motorised at 78rpm to regulate the speed, just like a real one does.

Nope. All records play in a clockwise direction. This set needs a motor, not a crank handle.

I bought this puzzle but I still can't assemble it due to lack of time. I have never assemble a wooden puzzle... now I am scared when I see how complex it is hahaha. 😅😅😅 I should have started with something simpler 🤔🤔😆 I really enjoyed seeing your montage, I hope mine turns out just as well, thank you 😋😋😋

I had the same problem, but I think it was because my speed was too slow and my needle was too loose, but I fixed it. I see your needle is tilting towards one side, and the metal ring in the hand crank is kind of loose. You can also try making it electrical. Hand crank didn't work for me either. Nice job building it though, I broke several pieces, accidentally assembled something backward, and had to use superglue, but it turned out ok. 😅

This is the hand cranked version. There is an electric version with a motor that drives the turntable at a regular speed, which makes more sense. No wonder the sound is weird in this video.

You are wrong - counter-clockwise would reverse the direction of the record and the music. The turntable requires a regulated speed just like a real one. A hand-cranked gramophone is ridiculous.

Looked great until I heard the end result. Did you do something wrong or is this the sound it is supposed to make? (The tune which isn't constant)
@neiljosephbennett9119
@neiljosephbennett9119 17 күн бұрын
The turntable should be motorised to regulate a constant RPM action, just like a real one does. The crank handle component is really stupid.
@IAmMe-qv3rr

Yeah, the hand crank doesn't really work. If you make it electrical (turn by itself), it might have a better result. Well, if it doesn't work at least it's good decoration lol

it seems to be a 78 record which is fast. when u build something like this u have to be very careful to get everything properly lubricated with wax, graphite, whatever and to make sure that some things which are meant to move is not too tight. I can tell by how the box flexes as he turns the handle that there is something way too tight inside.

Why would you be so sour? Many people try this out for fun and without experience. Its okey for them to make mistakes and still enjoy the process. Its never okey to shame people for making mistakes. Since making mistakes is one of the few way s to actually learn and grow wiser.
