There's no age limit on what we can and cannot enjoy (within reason lol). I will watch videos like this when I'm 90, Lord willing.
You can save your brushes, that you are using to apply resin, by washing them in acetone (just nail polish remover also works). To prevent the big bubble thing with the thicker resin pours, using 2 part epoxy resin should work better, but would also be safer cause thick UV resin layers dont tend to cure very well and tend to still release fumes.

Is your varnish water based? Then it probably reactivates the gouache. Try to find a different type of varnish, that is not water based, or one that is designed for gouache.

Your creations are soooo pretty. May I know why you chose air dry clay rather than polymer clay (oven bake)? I want to try clay art but not sure which clay to use
@jpeg420692 ай бұрын
I’m guessing they probably use air dry clay because you can get it in big quantities and it costs a LOT less than polymer clay. I prefer polymer clay, but I know my wallet does not! 😂
@Dianikorn2 ай бұрын

wrap it on a cling wrap then put it on the ziplock bags (double bag it to make it even tighter). make sure to squeeze all the air out of the bag. it should look almost like its been vacuum sealed

what purpose does the varnish have? if the clay is going to get a resin layer in the end?
@sakiamira2 ай бұрын
As someone who uses varnish, it adds an extra layer of protection. And also if it's glossy garnish, it gives a glossy coat. If it's matte, you get the idea
