I recently bought a P9 on GB and a Glock 43, both used. For my soft old arthritic hands Hogue grips were installed which tamed the recoil, well worth it. These small polymer guns are no fun to shoot without the grips. No one had ever sighted the guns in using a sandbag rest which I did and they both hit a quarter sized hole at 15 yds which is good for a double action gun. The P9 has more take up in the trigger than the Glock but in a defensive situation it wouldn't make any difference. I have confidence in both of them now, get yourself a Hogue grip. Put them on with frequent heat from a hairdryer and windex. Heat, squirt, heat, squirt, until you get the grip on.

Hi, thanks for the great videos. I am looking for a very comfortable, small, concealable and accessible IWB AND pocket holster for my Kahr p9 covert gun (original model). I also have the streamlight tlr-6 light attached to it. I don't need a holster that can take the tlr-6 but it would be a bonus if it did. I live in Florida so it will be hot most of the time. I would like to wear it with jeans and shorts. Which holsters do you recommend for both pocket and IWB carry? See below for ones that I found that work with the P9. Also are there any that you would stay away from? Unfortunately holsters are very much a matter of personal preference and the only way to know what will work best for your body type, gun, clothing style, environment, and comfort threshold is to start trying holsters. I have a box of holsters I've tried over the years and some I loved for a while and then didn't, some were the only option I could afford at the time. I carry a full-size strongside IWB so my experiences may not even be helpful to you.

I have the CM9 and have fired Kahr's my shooting friends had. Great gun, very well made here in the USA, recoil is softer than other semi-auto's. Give one a try - anyone.

I bought a CW380 and it didn't cycle at all. The slide release, that Kahr wants you to use all the time to close the slide to chamber a round ,broke after 185 rounds. I sent it back and then traded it for the Taurus TCP. TCP is 100% so far after 200+ rounds.

The larger calibers in Kahr run just fine.

fpav, I bought a CM9 new and it had problems. Put it in a ultrasonic cleaner for several hours and got a bunch of tiny metal chips out of it! I think the chips had jammed up under the extractor. But after that, the gun runs perfect and is hands down the most accurate gun I've ever owned. So, since then I have accumulated 5 different Kahrs and just love them all. Especially my new P45 Black with TruGlow night sights.
