I bow down to you sir, How foolish of me to have a different opinion to your's.. Of course this band are superb, why dident i see it before, and there huge record sale's and the extensive tours that they undertake across the globe are testament to this.. I imagine they all have made a packet from there stratospheric success.. Or are they in reality a small cult band who struggle to fill a small club let alone a resonably sized theartre. Wow, this was an interesting argument session on this vid. I saw GBH in '82 and '83, never enjoyed them live, but the records were the shit. Metal??? Not sure, just loud, noisy, chaotic beauty. Nowdays things are alot different, and i am by no means ripping on american bands of the 80s i love alot of them but the scene in england,finalnd,sweden,japan,australia,germany etc etc etc stayed commited because it was more than just a type of music for them.

For me GBH represented style to me more than a band. Their music never really pleased me after I looked at them with their bleached spikes and silly full leather clothes with boots. Theyre like the glam rock of punk. Im more of a Germs, JFA, circle jerks, and black flag kind of guy

in north america punk, especially second wave was very different from the rest of the world. While in England (not only, but as GBH for an example) you had no job, police would beat you up there was a constant fear of russia dropping bombs on you, you had to worry about how you would get food and there seemed to be no future at all for the youth.
