Glad you liked the video! You can cover this model with iron-on covering, just keep a low heat setting. Acrylic paint will work fine as well. Be sure to check the center of gravity for correct location when complete.

Question: if one wanted to refinish in Piper Cub yellow… All carefully masked off to keep moving parts free and the AC windows, Any good recommendations for best tape and importantly paint type. It appears to have quite a bit of downthrust. from what i could see, it looks like about 5° or more?

Elnufo: I did notice a bit of down and right thrust, but think it is less than 5 degrees. Anyhow, whatever the designers put in works well. Tim

Excellent work on the Video. I'm considering a return to flight. I've been elbows deep in Arduino and needed a radio for a project. So now I have a 10 Chan Flysky radio that is unemployed. Now that's a pretty cool airplane. My return to flight may need an ejection seat.

I use the AR 637t in some of my planes. Usually not on, but it has saved me from losing a plane or two. I assume the reflex performs a similar function.

Hi, friend! I would like to acquire my first FMS brand airplane (but in reality I am very concerned about the compatibility of the electronics, that is to say... the majority of horizon hobby RTF airplanes contain spektrum electronics and many times their models are limited to said electronics... my question is.. is it possible to attach any other esc and receiver like Flysky to the fms planes?

I like FMS airplanes a lot. Very thought out and they fly well. Especially the PA-18. The ESCs come built in, usually I never see them as they are buried in the fuselage. You’ll provide your own receiver (I use Spektrum AR620) and most receivers will work with any ESC. Tim
