It says in the report the weather system sometimes indicates storms when there are no storms and indicates there are no storms when there are storms. The issue is with the plane so legal issues would be with Boeing. And any legal issues with Boeing are usually settled with an assassination

According to my dictionary, an issue is something that exudes or flows from one place to another, so words issue from a speaker's mouth, blood issues from a wound, an issue of rum is made to sailors, gas issues from a leak and fresh water issues from the mouth of the Amazon. Flight times and other information is issued by Singapore Airlines. So far as I am aware, it has no more maintenance problems with its aircraft than most other airlines, but even if it did, maintenance problems are not the cause of bad weather. At 32,000 ft airliners fly above the weather, but they cant stay up there for ever.

Nothing to do with the type of plane genius! However, if it is an known issue of the radar detection system on a 777-300, then that should be addressed. Personally, when I book my longhaul flights, I always make sure it's on a Airbus A380 as often as possible. Even if I have to pay extra. At the end of the day, you are more likely to hit a pothole on the road and injure yourself driving your car!

Thunderstorms can create vertical wind shear capable of destroying any aircraft....which has happened many times. The airlines typically can detect such turbulence via radar , which uses the water droplets of particles carried in the updrafts/downdrafts to determine how extreme the turbulence is. There have been some accidents similar to this one where the radar wasn't effective in "seeing" the turbulence due to the absence of particles or rain, so I'm guessing that might have happened here, or there was some sort of issue with the radar system as was mentioned in this video. Keep those seatbelts fastened while seated, folks.

Liar. Aircraft are made to handle those forces very well and that makes sense since turbulence is pretty common. It might not be comfortable being inside such an aircraft but as long as the pilots wear their seatbelts and are not knocked out against the ceiling it's all fine.

Singapore is well known for itsefficiency, so I doubt whether it is Singapore's fault. Airliners usually travell above the weather at 33,000 ft, but what goes up must come down. The weather is certainly no fault of the plane.

2:27 - '777 Jumbo jet'. This was a 777-300 not a jumbo jet...needs to get his facts right! Also very unfortunate for the individual to pass away as a result of the incident. Having seen some internal footage, part off the overhead bin was damaged. It could be the passenger did not have their seatbelt on at the time and their head made impact to the overhead bin...possible head trauma.

Now I am confused, other reports said the flight was only 90 minutes in, when turbulence occured. So, after a whole day of flights across that airspace, the pilots had NO information and presumably neither did the pilits warn the passengers and cabin crew! I will wait for interviews with flight crew, cabin crew and passengers as well as from accident reports before coming to a conclusion.
