The Dinosaur Hour series is a GB News triumph. Quirky, calm, unique - I love it.

I have loved each and every one of these. JC is always such an intelligent but modest and likeable guy, always open to listening and learning more. Great host, great guests and plenty of cats!

I didnt take to this show immediately but have come to love its pace, what a gift that John has done this when he could have just bumbled off and had an easy life.

Wonderful high brow stuff on the dreamy natures of creativity all wrapped up in John Cleese quirky humour. The song Eric the half a bee suddenly took on new meaning as some kind of discourse on reality. This series is growing on me.

Just discovered this program....awesome!! The antidote to endless mindless cliched crap that is the normal mainstream ( its got to appeal to lowest denominator) offering. The vibe is quirkily offbeat, the subjects interesting and thought provoking...and I wonder if the sagacious age group is part of what makes so good!!! And its amusing.....well done! Please make lots more!!

At the interval between part 1 and part 2, I agree with Lewis Schaffer rather than Andrew Doyle. We can achieve and be happy doing what some would consider mundane jobs without being "creative".

Nice to see quality, relaxed, intelligent people calmly conversing in a non political way for once and not having to think about or watch every word they say or lie their heads off. Also, good to see the lack of interrupting and talking over another person, which usually achieves nothing. Be good to see Clarkson, May and Hamster on here one day, perhaps. Or the latter on a Come Dine With Me episode. The ceaseless news updates are the only thing that ruins this programme for me, give it a rest or have an option to show or hide the text. Response to video only.

Excellent show, really good, but I do wish Cleese wasn’t so rude to one or two people especially Lewis. This idea that there is good and bad failure is so true. So many people fail and give up, after deciding that they lack talent. And yet failing is the first step to mastering a skill. Sometimes a whole series of failures are needed. Studies showed that the best ice skaters fall on average more often than others, and that’s because they are not afraid to push themselves out of their comfort zone, and learn new skills. Talent is most often the ability to carry on despite failure.
