Are we for real discussing about what is good parenting? I'm sorry, love is more deeper that that. Parents know best, but some of them do not. It doesn't mean everybody needs to avoid hard medical decision on childrens with proibitionism. There are enough people that enjoy puberty blockers.

Notice how, this past 15 years the word 'kid' has replaced 'child/children'. Being 56, one always knew what a CHILD was - it didn't need explanation - but 'kid' is much less emotive, and could be used to describe a 25 year old. Is this deliberate ? Are the 'progressives' trying their best to phase out the word child in the name of some perverse form of DEI !? Children need PROTECTION, in the way that 'kids' might not.

Patrick Harvie, leader of the Scottish Greens, condemned the Cass review without reading it, on the basis that there were lots of people on X criticising it (surprise, surprise). So , someone who has no university-level qualifications in medicine or health sciences ( in fact, in anything), who has no idea how to read a scientific paper, rejects a scientific report on the basis of "I don't like it". Reality doesn't care if you like it or not. For Women Scotland- I had little idea that you were up against this level of imbecility amongst Scottish politicians. Good luck-you'll need it

My son is 5 and he has no idea about any of this, has never heard the words etc. My daughter is away to turn 3. Any child as young as 4 or 5 that knows about this stuff is purely because their parents or nursery/school has pushed this BS onto them. It's shameful.

If I was the coach of any of the women’s team I would tell them to kick-off then stand still and let the Bats score then kick-off again and stand still etc. Then repeat for 90 mins. The captain could say after each goal the Bats score, ‘Are you having fun? Do you feel proud of this win?’ And say the same every 5 mins if the Bata stopped scoring. I’m pretty sure the Bats players would give up pretty soon and be totally demoralised. They would then have to rethink their position.

Puberty blockers are to halt your sex not this use of the word gender. It should have been obvious to professionals that self-diagnosis is a bad idea for adults let alone children. All the Cass Report did was try to halt this madness and propose to go back to what they should have known and used to do in the first place.

Children are Children, no transing should allowed for anyone under adulthood at 18. And even then not until the prospective transer has lived for two years as what they think themselves to by and under psychological assessment as was needed in the 60s, 70s and 80s when this kicked off.

First of all, trans is not LGB. Second, you may believe there is such a thing as a trans child, or unicorns, that doesn’t make it real. A trans child is like a vegan cat, it’s the adults making that determination, not the child. And hurting and killing people is against the law. What does not supporting lying to children by telling them they were born in the wrong body (what a ghastly idea and nonsense concept) or the lie that a boy can be made into a girl, or vice versa, or not supporting giving puberty blockers to children, have to do at all with you thinking people like or don’t like gay or lesbian people ? Again, not even remotely connected. And why are you so insistent on children having sex lives and deciding if they are gay or not when they haven’t even gone through puberty yet? Are you seeking sexual partners amongst children ?
