My mother is 94 and her partner /companiion is 89 and two weeks ago he had a brain bleed. As we were waiting for the doctor with the ambulance men we were discussing the state of the NHS. I knew that they couldn’t actually talk truthfully, but I laid it out for them. I told them NHS had loads of money thrown at them because it was the sacred cow. But it wasted it on stupid things like DEI, pronouns, and translators. He told me frankly and trusted me - and I’m not mentioning names - that he had just had his training. And they were not allowed to say mothers but birthing partners, no breastfeeding but chest feeding and use of pronouns and all the paraphernalia that went with it cost billions and made absolutely no difference to patient care. So please, tell this to N/F we need a Conservative Party that manages, not just more of the same with more money. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. My son works isn’t theatres and I do hear about all this nonsense.

@thelastofus2872 Clearly you don't know how difficult and expensive British Citizenship is. If people get Asylum then they become eligible after 12 months and anyone applying must be living in the UK for the 5 years before they apply. Outside the UK for no more than 450 days in those 5 years and outside the UK for no more than 90 days in the past 12 months. The current application cost per adult is £1630. The process is (rightly) long and arduous.
