Something I absolutely adore in these videos is how they tie in with other film universes. The Back to the Future reference in the Proton Pack vid, the Honey I Shrunk the Kids reference in the Containment Unit vid, and now explaining why the PKE Meter prop appeared in They Live and Suburban Commando. Another one that could potentially come up is Short Circuit. The sound that the laser on the SAINT robots makes is the same sound as the proton pack activating. Maybe the lasers aren't lasers at all, but actually miniature particle accelerators and throwers. Both of them do tend to destroy whatever they come in contact with after all. The main beam of them are both red. And since the ones in Short Circuit were made by a military robotics group, they probably had a much higher budget to be more refined and compact. Egon could have even helped design these, ahem, _licensed_ nuclear accelerators, when he was in that military consultant position you proposed in this video.

Ecto Goggles is next on the docket. This set of animation is covering detection devices. So we may also do the gigameter and maaaaybe the sniffer. Slime blower is definitely on the wish list. But it may take awhile. Animation is time consuming and our interns don’t get much sleep. That said, we are cooking up a new series we may release while the animations are in production. Stay tuned!

Same way an insulation blower works, except it's slime in the resevar pack instead. Very low tech but easy to deploy.

This video is great, but it has a bit of a depressing effect on me as well. I'm not a fan of the modern day Ghostbusters sequels. Growing up, like most Ghostbusters fans I wanted to see a direct sequel to part 2, the closest we ever got to a true part 3 was Ghostbusters: The Video Game, which in my headcanon is part 3. This video brings me down a little bit because it's like it comes from a world where the Ghostbusters are common knowledge and recognized for their efforts in the first two movies, which is exactly how I always imagined the world of Ghostbusters being in a part 3 that took place in the internet age a decade or more after the second movie. It would make sense to see informational videos like this on social media referencing the Ghostbusters accomplishments and inventions, and organizations affiliated with them like your Ghostbusters Northwest. Thank you for this video, the enjoyment I got from it far eclipsed the sense of loss about not getting something like this in the modern sequels.

Not Really EMF meters are for electromagnetic frequencies. Could it pick up a ghost, eeeeeeh maybe. but you are FAR more likely to detect a running fridge or Electrical tower than a ghost. so, in advice DONT buy an EMF for Ghost hunting. its BS. Pke meter as said works like a - Ion and Neutron detector. Ion counters could work but BF3 is the best option since it's a gas that causes an electrochemical reaction. better than Ion selective counters. Be warned BF3 is hard to come by due to the dangers of it being toxic, and if it comes in contact with any moisture it will start to form Hydrofluoric Acid. very dangerous. I was lucky enough to get a BF3 counter tube recently.
